Introducing Greg Mullins AO AFSM former Commissioner, Fire and Rescue NSW

Looking forward to the next Rotary Climate and peace forum on 10th November?

We are very pleased to announce 3 fantastic new speakers for this event.

This blog serves to introduce you to Greg Mullins- AO AFSM former Commissioner , Fire and Rescue NSW. We suspect you already know Greg from his advocacy, linking NSW fires to the Climate. Perhaps you have heard that he headed across the ocean to speak to California about climate change recently – in amongst their terrible fires. But did you know that Greg’s dad was also a firefighter and that Greg fought his first large fire in 1971 with his dad? In retirement Greg is focusing on climate and the environment and is ‘extremely concerned about the major changes to fire danger caused by a heating world.’ He has been very influential in changing the debate in Australia on the impact of climate change, on the intensity of the fires and the length of the fire season.

Book now for the next Climate and Peace forum to ensure you hear from Greg. https://bit.ly/2FcPgg1
