Alexis Bowen

Alexis Bowen is the founder of The Bin Chicken Australia and NSW Environmental Citizen of the Year 2022. What started as an exercise to clean up the neighbourhood developed into a community recycling program that uses the NSW Return and Earn scheme to operate The Community Pantry & Recycling Hub in Campbelltown. The Bin Chicken online store is a growing marketplace for products made from recycled or plant based materials, making it easier for consumers to purchase Australian made recycled products. The Bin Chicken is on a mission to divert waste from landfill to leave the environment a better place for our kids and generations to come.
